If you love the bold flavours of an Espresso Martini but wish it fit better with your fitness goals, the MaxPresso Martini is your new go-to cocktail. This version keeps the indulgence of coffee and a kick of vodka but adds a serious protein punch, making it a smarter choice for your macros.
Why you’ll love it:
- High-protein version with ~20g per serving
- Lower sugar than a standard Espresso Martini
- Easy to tweak: skip the optional coffee liqueur to reduce sugar further, or add a zero-calorie sweetener for extra sweetness
- Versatile: turn it into a mocktail by using a flavoured MaxPresso and omitting the alcohol
Ingredients
- 60 ml MaxPresso Protein Coffee (prepared with water)
- 60 ml vodka
- Optional: 20ml coffee liqueur (like Kahlúa, for sweetness & richness)
Garnish (optional)
- Coffee beans
- Cinnamon stick or a light dusting of cinnamon
Method:
Step 1: Make the “espresso” base
- Add 30 g (3 tbsp) MaxPresso to a shaker
- Add 80 ml cold water
- Shake hard for 20–30 seconds
- Let it settle for 20 seconds to allow foam to rise
Step 2: Build the cocktail
- 60 ml vodka
- 60 ml prepared MaxPresso (from above)
- 15–30 ml coffee liqueur (optional but recommended for taste)
- Ice
Step 3: Shake & serve
- Add everything into a shaker with plenty of ice
- Shake hard for 15–20 seconds (key for foam)
- Double strain into a chilled martini glass
- Garnish with coffee beans or cinnamon
