Pumpkin Spice Protein Doughnuts

INGREDIENTS:

  1. 100g tinned pumpkin
  2. 50g wholemeal flour
  3. 25g Promax Vanilla
  4. 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  5. 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  6. 1/2 tsp baking powder
  7. 1 egg
  8. 25g honey or liquid sweetener

Toppings

  1. Sugar free dark chocolate
  2. Sugar free white chocolate

METHOD:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees celcius
  2. In a large mixing bowl add the pumpkin, egg and honey (or substitute) and combine fully.
  3. Now add the flour, Promax, baking powder and spices. Fold gently into the wet mixture.
  4. Transfer into a well oiled silicone doughnut mould and bake for 10 mins.
  5. Once cooked allow the doughnuts to cool before topping with melted sugar free chocolate and decorations of choice.
  6. This recipe makes 6 doughnuts
