There are very few people who don’t love a good cinnamon roll. Thankfully, this traditional dessert is easily given a healthier makeover by ditching the flour in favour of nutrient-rich almond milk and butter. We also lose a lot of the refined sugars you’ll normally find in this classic dish by using frozen bananas, which is also rich in minerals.

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 tablespoon raw cocoa
  • 1 scoop MaxiNutrition Promax chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon of almond butter
  • 1 cup of almond milk/ any milk you prefer

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth, you can adapt the consistency of the smoothie by adding more milk or water to the blend.
  2. Serve and enjoy!
